welcome to the forum.

we're not a fortune tellers who can read minds just looking through the crystal ball

even though my bald head looks like one.

if you've updated nVidia drivers then disable or uninstall ShadowPlay.

if not roll back to the driver that worked and wait for the next update.

same goes with PD but you must do a clean PD reinstall.

if everything fails then at least Part B -> http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/45453.page

I uninstalled the nvida program that lets you make adjustments to the graphics card and now I don't get the shut downs...but PD should fix the problem with a update as it's not good to not have the graphics card program.

I agree. The answer shouldn't be uninstall someone elses program. The answer should be, we know there is a problem and we are fixing it.

I go along with Steven and Eric here!

Cyberlink and Nvidia should be "getting their heads together" to nut out a solution to this conflict between their respective products!

Cheers!

I'm with Steven, Eric and Neil on this issue. There is a software glitch somewhere between either PD14 (v2303) or Nvidia causing an abrupt random crash that needs to be resolved.

Yes, I was in the same boat with constant crashes with PD 13 and 14, was pissing me off to the point where I nearly asked for a refund... uninstalling geforce experience did the trick for me, now I'm smooth sailing again *Blip*

Well then, everyone!

I think we're all agreed. Nvidia needs to do some "homework" and get their hardware/software sorted out, pronto! It's causing far too much conflict with Power Director, versions 13 and 14 and needs urgent attention.

Cheers!

Neil.
