Somehow I disable the auto-refresh rate on PDVD 15 Ultra. I cannot find it anywhere in either the normal or cinema mode settings. How do I re-enable it?

I want to set my default resolution to 1080P 60Hz. Then when I play a Blu-Ray at 1080P 24Hz, PDVD will change the resolution to 24Hz for the movie. My other computers do this, but my main HTPC doesn't change to the proper resolution any longer. I must have disabled it somehow.

Hi marchewd,
I think you are talking about aspect Ratio.
Please click on the Setting> Video, Audio, Subtitles> More Video Setting> Aspect Ratio.
There you can choose "Always maintain Video aspect ratio"
or
"Apply strech".
Please try this and let me know if it works.

No, the aspect ratio and refresh rate are two different things. Aspect ratio is 1:85. 1:78 or 2:35. etc. Refresh rates are 1080i 60Hz, 1080P 60 Hz, 1080P 24Hz, etc.

I know what you mean. It asks you if you want to turn the feature on when you seemingly playback something that isn't the same rate as your desktop for the first time. If you say YES or NO it appears to be your only chance because after that the setting can't be found anywhere. But it's most likely in the registry or a config file somewhere.

Just enter the PowerDVD settings, and in the General section near the bottom is a "Reset 'Never ask again' dialogs" button. Hit reset, and when you launch a movie you should get asked again if you want PDVD to automatically adjust the refresh rate.
