So I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-C and PowerDirector 10 is already installed on the computer. I am trying to start up a YouTube gaming channel and would like to edit videos in the program. However, when I begin editing my videos I see nothing but green on the preview screen, yet the audio continues to play. Can anyone help with this issue? Is there something I must do within the program before editing to prevent this issue from occuring? Or is it a problem within my laptop? Thank you in advanced to anyone who takes the time to assist me with this.

As a try, go to PD10 pref > Hardware Acceleration and uncheck both items. See if you still have the issue.

I've gotten a green screen ever since I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10. I just fixed it using this same method:

Under Preferences, uncheck the "Enable hardware decoding".

I've been stumped for months. Today, this method worked for me.

So, thanks, Jeff and everyone! best wishes,
~ Donna
