PowerDVD audio slider has not effect on the playback's audio
[Post New]
Why is it that there is absolutely NO EFFECT on the audio volume when using the audio slider within PowerDVD or the Volume Mixer in Windows? This is refund status for me because I do not desire to lower my SYSTEM volume when I should be able to adjust the PROGRAM volume. I have other things I need to hear while watching. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thank you in advance.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerDVD to no avail. The audio slider does not actually change the audio volume via the sliders in both PowerDvD and Volume Mixer for PowerDVD. I'm using 7.1 Razer Tiamats with an ASUS 7.1 Xonar DSX soundcard.
