PD14 Very Slow Edits

Upgraded to PD14 Ultimate a few days ago. Win7, 64 bit, Intel on-board graphics.

Just finished editing my first video in the new version (14.0.2302.0). Editing seems MUCH slower than in PD13; screen freezes a LOT; clip preview doesn't end at end of clip; and several other issues. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Also, "Remove, Fill Gap, and Move all Clips" does NOT move anything on the Title track. Has this always been the case with earlier versions?

Hi Karl3054,
Please provide us with a screenshot, so we can see what you're looking at - Edit workspace, full screen image. Part E & F.

I have not been able to replicate your "Remove, Fill Gap, and Move all Clips", so if we see your screenshot I'm sure members will try and have a go. Maybe 2x screenshots of a before and after so we know what you've done.

Slower: Please provide a diagnostic file. see the guide Part B.

I replied with a screenshot, but I'm not sure whether it reached you. Let me know if it did not.

Karl, thanks very much for your screen shot. I have a similar machine with Intel-only graphics but that operations works normally here. What happens if you copy the title to Track 3 and do your edit again?

I'm trying to see if the issue something about the editor, the timeline, the title track or the title itself.

Hi Karl3054,
Thanks for the image , can you also provide the "after" shot of what the Edit Workspace looks like when you do click the "Remove, Fill Gap and Move All Clips"?

I also asked for a diagnostic, please can you provide that info to?

Both bits of data will help us. As I mentioned previously the action is not an issue i can replicate so showing us what appears for you in Edit workspace after you've carried out the action is important.

The diagnostic will give us fuller details of your editing computer's capabilities and that is very important to.

Information is the key to us helping you.
Dafydd
