Hi! Me and my friend have been using this x264vfw codec to record gameplay videos with Dxtory and with Cyberlink Powerdirector 14 Ultimate & Ultra. The codec can be found via this link: Codec website

When we render video that is 30 to 120 mins long, It gives this error message after rendering it about 470mb:

rendering error

We recorded in FULL HD 1920x1080 and 2K resolution and 60 FPS. I tried also with Lagarith Lossless codec and 30fps.

Here's another screenshot:

I tried to render in H.264 AVC mp4 and mkv, H.265 HEVC mp4 and mkv, and with XAVC S mp4. I have downgraded my Asus Geforce GTX 560 TI 1GB to non-game ready driver that is not beta, but it didn't work. I also tried WITH game ready driver (newest)

My friend has AMD Radeon 7970, driver is newest but it's BETA driver.

We also have newest QuickTime, windows media player and so on...

I have tried with CCCP codec pack, didn't work, so i installed k-lite codec pack basic, didn't work either. Always the same error.

Here's my diagnostic file:

Download DxDiag.txt

We have used also Hardware decoding and open cl and without them.

k.

try this out.

i've downloaded a trial version and since i don't have any games on my pc so the trial version doesn't work;

however, looking things over...

download the ffdshow from http://www.free-codecs.com/ffdshow_download.htm

install it and use the ffdshow codecs in your game recording and cross your fingers PD14 will edit it...

proprietary stuff leave it alone!
