Slideshow made, it burned to disk okay, so now how do I PLAY it?! There is no exe file on it, just 2 folders, one with .vob video files. What is the deal? How do I play the slideshow?!

You have presumably burnt a DVD. A DVD or Blue Ray player or computer with suitable optical drive and software DVD player should recognise it and play it for you. The two folders you mention will be "Video_TS" and "Audio_TS" - standard DVD folder structure.

Yes, a DVD. If my computer was able to burn it, should it not be able to play it too? It doesn't play on my laptop that just burned it. And thanks for replying!

Not necessarily. It can read it but if you don't have a software DVD Player e.g.Cyberlink's "Power DVD" then it won't play. If you double click on the .vob file/s then they may well play in Windows Media Player but it depends on the codecs you've got on your system.

p.s. - VLC is a good all round media player that is capable of playing the .vob's but it's not a substitute for a 'proper' DVD player.

The answer is yes if you have win 7. Answer is no if you have win 10. You must then buy a commercial software dvd player(about $100) or buy the plug-in from Microsoft. Go to the Microsoft store. Many good choices for dvd software and standalone players out there.

win 8.1 also did not include the dvd player, only win 7 did. Win 8 did allow users to download the dvd player plug-in for free for a short time. That was years ago. Nothing is free now. You need to buy what you want.

I put it in my grandson's PS4, it played great! I'll have to shop around for something for my computers. Thanks all.
