Dead space after the video

I just edited my first video with PD14 and after processing, there is about 20 minutes of dead air after the video. I noticed that while editing, the timeline slider doesn't stop at the last clip, but just keeps on going. Never noticed this in PD12.

Try this: Select the Movie, not Clip mode and hit the end key on the keyboard. Expand the timeline to maximum and look for a sliver left over from trimming on all the video and audio tracks.

Let us know if anything is found.

Hello, TlGriff!

This(what you've explained) will sometimes happen if some content placed on one or other of the PiP tracks, title track, effects track or audio track(s) extend beyond the nominal end of the clip you've edited. Follow Tomasc's instructions and you should find out what may be causing your situation.

Cheers!

Neil.
