PICTURE JUMPING ...

Thanks for all the suggestions but I have tried both new and old video drivers and the jumping/flickering picture continues. What doesn't make sense is that the video plays well in both Video and TV player and Windows Media Payer which I would have thought dispels a driver issue. I will try to make a clean install of PD 14 again and see what happens. I am still open to any other suggestions guys ... Ian Crowhurst

Don't reinstal PD14 just yet. It is good that you say the produced video does not jump. It only jumps in the media player preview window. Change the preview quality to high or normal to see if it helps. Try setting your user screen dpi from 120 (125%) to 96 |(100%) and see if it fixes the jumping. If it does then you may want to consider buying a different video card that scales well in win 10.

Try this: In PD14 go to Preferences/Hardware acceleration and uncheck both boxes if they are checked. Click okay and let us know the result.

I thank everyone for the advice given with this problem, but "tomasc" I love you ..!! Although I had already done a re-install before I read your blog it didn't have any affect. As soon as I unchecked the Hardware Acceleration as you suggested the picture started to run smoothly. So simple 'when you know' ... but I didn't and am very grateful. I have also installed the correct drivers for Windows 10, now I can get on with my 'Epic'. Ian Crowhurst

Glad to have been of help in solving the problem. The key here was the 11th thread of this post where you said the rendered video is fine. Everyone who didn't read the entire threads of this post would have thought both your preview and produced video were jumpy as there is such recent post in the PD13 forum.
