Is it possible in PD 14 or PD14 suite to make a custom mask like in the attachment?

Hi HT -

Not in PDR, but you can use graphics software to do it.

There's a mask attached with instructions on how it was done (the words won't appear if you use this as a mask). Because I made the central space transparent, you'll probably need to select "Invert Mask" after you import it into PiP Designer.

Do you think more masking controls would be a good feature request for pd 15? Like what is in color director but be able to do a complete mask, not just change color.

I created my own mask in Microsoft "Paint" as a bitmap image. the purpose being to hide the jittery edges of a clip after stabiliser has been applied. The width of the border is open to experimentation, the colour is open to choice, as is whether to have curved or squared corners.

I simply import this mask(white area to be made transparent with chroma-key) and place it over any clip where my shaky camerawork has been corrected by the use of the Image Stabiliser in "Fix/Enhance".
