Power DVD Ultra - 5.1 Audio problem

Hi,
I'll start with my specs.

Asus Rampage II Extreme Motherboard
Quad Core - Q9650 CPU
8GB Ram
Windows Vista 64 Bit
2 x XFX 260GTX video cards (SLi enabled)
Logitech 5.1 Speakers
LG Blu-Ray and HD-DVD drive

Ok, as you can see, I have a 5.1 speaker setup.
With the motherboard a SupremeFX II audio card is supplied to enable 7.1 audio, if needed. I opted for just 5.1 (that's good enough for me!)
The software that I use to help the audio card within Windows is, 'Soundmax Blackhawk'.

I can play music and normal DVD's threw Windows Media Player without a problem, and I get 5.1 audio without fail. Sounds awesome!

But to play my Blu-Ray's and HD-DVD's, I use PowerDVD Ultra.... But unfortunately, I can't get 5.1 audio ??? I've gone through all the settings that I can find, but still can't get 5.1 audio.
The Blu-Ray's that I'm playing are 5.1 & 7.1 compatible.

The audio only comes out of the front speakers (Front Left / Front Right) The center speaker and rear speakers are not working.

Is this a known issue with PowerDVD Ultra??
Is there any way that I could play Blu-Ray's threw Windows Media Player?

Hi,

If it is PDVD 7.3 Ultra the version supplied with the LG drive then is OEM and 2 channel.

As for WM player the answer is no, I believe Arcsoft Totalmedia Theatre will allow HD-DVD and BD to play in Windows Media Centre.

I am having this same issue and when I registered the PowerDVD 7 Ultra it stated that it supports HD and Bluray disc's and 6 Speakers. I have an LG Drive and the OEM software that came with it.

I get full 5.1 audio using a Optical cable to my Receiver, and setting Power DVD to S/PIDF out, and my onboard Digital Audio to S/PIDIF out passthrough mode.

Not sure if that helps, oh I am allso using Powere DVD 8 though that shouldnt be a problem.
