I've checked the Cyberlink FAQs and i have an open ticket with Cyberlink themselves awaiting a answer but thought i'd ask the communitity as well. It'd be great if i could uninstall the software and release the key for sale.

Ah sorry poor choice of words on my part. Upgrade as in move to the new version rather than purchasing the upgrade as a product. The full retail boxed versions can be had cheaper then upgrading my existing 13 key to 14 hence my question.

I've done some further reading and i think i've answered my own question with the pointers from yourself and JL_JL. I'm based in the UK and EU law will overide the CL EULA. The Oracle vs UsedSoft (2012) verdict still stands which makes it legal to resell digital software in the EU provided i stop using the software so it is a resell vs a distribution transaction. This isn't a problem as i'm uninstalling and installing something new anyway .

I have my answer (i think)!

When I got PD8, it was passed on to me from a previous user WITHOUT a request for monetary transaction(given, rather than sold to me, in other words), but it did come with the suggestion to add the latest "build"(update) and not to register the software. That I did. But when I came to acquire PD14 Ultra, I DID register it but, to date have not updated the version(used any patches, as, for the most part, PD14 works fine without them) My only disappointment with PD14 Ultra is not being able to burn to DVD in DVD SP setting(see my comments in "Suggestions For Power Director 15" in the Power Director 14 forum).

Do you try to get it from the seller. The seller should have it.

Bought it in Google play, they just send me the the notification, and is download . But no key I have yet
