Music track not on DVD when I "Create Disc"

I had Power Director version 5 for 2 years and was pretty happy with it and upgraded to version 7. I am having an intermittent problem, more there than not. When creating a disc there will be no background music on the DVD, the music plays during the menu screen but that is it. When in Power Director the music is in my timeline and plays fine in the Create Disc mode. I would say out of the last 15 try's maybe 3 DVD's have music. The same project when producing a wmv file for the web is fine, the music is there, also the same project will have the music track on one DVD and then not have it on the next? I am using mp3 files from my own library. I shut down every other audio/video program running on my computer and created a disc and it had the music track, then opened another project, created disc, no music track! I have contacted email tech support and they are no help. Has anybody had this problem or does anybody have any ideas on what I can try to do to correct the problem?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jay,

Can't help directly - only time something similar happened was with PD and other DVD burning software - can't recall which - but it was something to do with Dolby capability which meant no sound track on the DVD but it was on rendered files. Sorry can't recall all the details - increasing age, you know.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks, but they did not help. I will keep trying different things.
