Cannot Add Transitions or Titles to Main Track Since Update

Need a bit of assistance here:

I have PD13 with all current patches and recently when I drag and drop the Transition on the Main Track, It doesn't place the transition or title.

B4, I would drag the transition down to the Video line and it would put it on the track and do the transition or title. Now I drag, and release, and nothing is there.

Anyone have this challenge and know of a fix? I have a project that needs to be completed and this is holding me up.

Thanks

Hi Kiplorenzo

That's an unusual issue. When you say "B4," can i ask "before what?" What happened or what did you change that resulted in PD13 not operating like it used to?

Certainly there are simple things you can do like uninstall then reinstall PD13 (you'll need your license key to reinstall). If you think the latest patch messed things up, try using just the original version that gets reinstalled.

You can also try using the Windows Restore function if you don't know exactly what happened but know when the problem started. Choose a Restore From date that was from before the problem happened and see if that works.

There are tons of posts out on the web about that Windows feature, and I'm sure you can quickly search for and find an answer for any questions that might come up.

I had the same issue with transition yesterday.
I solved the problem by extending the timeline, then I could drag and drop the transition. PDR 14.0.4207.0 / Windows 10 64-bit / Asus / Intel i7-4790 3.60 GHz / 16GB RAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / DirectX 12

If you're still having the problem, it would help if you could take a screenshot of your workspace in PD13 and attach it here. A screen recording of what happens when you try to add a transition would be even better.

Ok, So Somebody poured more than a cup of Stoopid in my Coffee... Thanks, I had not noticed that the Timeline needed to be expanded last time. I looked at the last video, and there were pictures that started off the film, so it behaved a bit differently. But I tried your suggestion, and they are there, but they are tiny until you expand the timeline.

Thanks
