There is no General Info section so my apollogies for posting here.

I'm hoping to find software allowing me to print CD/DVD Case labels. So far nothing I've found includes templates for Slim DVD Cases.
I've created my own in Excel and for the most part they work.
What software are you using?

Thank you for your time,

Joe

I use a commerical software named 'Acoustica CD Label Maker'. It is great software, there are many other CD/DVD Label making software, just search Google. Acoustica does DVD Cases also.

Canon Printers have a label making software that is pretty simple and not near as good as Acoustica.

Whatever software you use, be sure it is capable of Direct Printing on Printable CD/DVDs. There are several printers that can print directly on a Printable CD/DVD disk. And Printable Bluray disks

Do not use the paste on (Stick-on) disk labels, they are prone to coming off and jamming up the the Player or Optical drive.

Once upon a time ago, there was another posting in the Cyberlink Forum about CD/DVD labels. I think Cyberlink has a Label making software. (LabelPrint 2.5)

I'm using Epson Print CD software for Direct CD/DVD printing

I've been using them in the past. No one has ever complained, but I am getting away from that.

LabelPrint 2.5 only prints standard and slim Jewel case labels. I've check out yours... it doesn't have DVD slim case templates either.

Hey Joe -

Here's a *template* for as slim DVD case label. All you need to do is install *Open Office*, which is free. It does most of the things MS Office does.

Of course, that may not be any kind of improvement on the one you made yourself! laughing

Cheers - Tony

Here is a set of Neato CD/DVD Inserts & Sleeves Templates. The Slim DVD Case Insert is the 4th one from the left on the bottom. Available in 3 different format including MS Word. You can simply print it on a piece of water and cut it out.

Carl - I do have LabelPrint 2.5. It does not include the slim SVD case label on my version.

Edit to include the link here: https://www.neato.com/cd-dvd-inserts-sleeves-templates.html .

Acoustica version history indicates it was added in
03/04/05
Version 2.32 [ Download v 2.32 ] added support for slim DVD cases!!

See pic for setting. I've used it many times in version 3.40 and it appears to work fine.

My version of Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker (3.40) does include some templates for Slim DVD cases (7 MM). I see at least 6 different brands of labels that are Slim DVD Case labels.

There is a free trial of the CD/DVD label Maker, you can try it out.

Just to properly end this thread...I chose to go with SureThing. It allows me to...

  1. have all my required labels in one project

  2. have multiple instances of the same label (like multiple pages in a booklet)

  3. pay <$45

I've been using my own templates for DVD "slicks" and CD cards using Microsoft's Publisher, for label printing I use the software that came with my Cannon IP4850 printer, which prints to white inkjet-printable discs.

Cheers.
