Hi BeetleSick74 -
Encoding video to the ideal format & profile is a complex thing because there are so many variables. When you start uploading to YouTube (or othjer sites) it gets even more complicated. What you upload gets processed by YT. Unavoidable fact.
Here's an interesting study about
Encoding for YouTube to get the best results There's an add-on at the end of the article by one of Google's video "hackers" - worth reading!
The first video link you posted -
https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=ZZuXSCDkR6s - is set to Private, even when you use the corrected link -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZuXSCDkR6s Setting it to Unlisted will work.
I have no real understanding of the way YT processes video, nor any way of knowing what profiles are used to do this. That GoPro video you linked -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2liYwCFTgr4 - as far as I can determine what you're viewing is a 1080p 30fps video @ ~
3.5Mbps. I got that by downloading the video from the
*URL* where it's actually stored...
Sorry - no magic answers.
Cheers - Tony
