NB Essentials V is present in my PDR 14. Which variant did you install?

What do you find in C:\Program Files (x86)\NewBlue? What about C:\Program Files\NewBlue? For some reason NB Essentials V is in both those folders here! surprised

Is the essensials V only a trial product, or should i recieve the serial in the powerdirector ordermail? AMD 8120, geforce 760, 16 gb ram.

As Tony mentioned, all your effects packs and anything downloaded from DirectorZone along with any purchased SmartSound tracks from previous versions should be retained in separate folders. No futher licensing is needed and nothing would be coming from Cyberlink.

The only exception is NewBlue VideoEssentials VII (7), which will prompt you for (and reject) a licence key. You'll need to contact NBFX from the vertical Get Support tab at the top right of their webpage: https://www.newbluefx.com/ and they'll send you a link to the updated pack.

Hi,

It is present, but says that Trial Period is gone.

I upgraded from pd13. NB V came with pd13 Ultimate.

So how should I work this out?

I think you should contact NewBlue directly (see my previous post). Maybe I'm mistaken about VE7 being the only one that needs to be updated to fix a license issue...

BTW, the current version I have is 140805, and I'm sure Edward or Caleb can help you get all your packs up to date as well!

I installed the latest version of the essensials V from a trial software download site, but in powerdirector 14 it still says i must enter a serial to activate. AMD 8120, geforce 760, 16 gb ram.

Monjase, your situation is different from BeetleSick74's. His pack was included in PD13 Ultimate amd didn't require a serial number there, but it's asking for one in PD14.

Since you only have the trial version, you'll need to purchase it from NewBlue to get a serial number, or you can upgrade to a higher level PD package to have it included.
