Capture from new Sony FDR-AX33 video camera

How can I capture images from a new Sony FDR-AX33 video camera? I have tried connecting to my PC using the built in USB cable from the cammera but it does not recognize it.

What does the camera manual say about connecting to a computer?

Does that camera have a flash memory card? If so use a card reader to copy the video files to your computer.

There is a software download from Sony that will transfer the 4K videos to your computer. I got the following link from the downloadable manual.
