I'm having trouble starting the PowerDirector 7 trial

Hi all,
I just downloaded the DEMO..

When I start the program, it is a message saying that my resolution of video has to be greater than 1024 x 768 in 16 bits, the more my resolution is higher and still does not start.

What I should do to make the program work?
