I want to update my software, how do I do it? I have been seeing the popup for a few sessions and then (when I want to update) it disappeared. I clicked on the update button on the top right and downloaded the update into a folder..... now what? Did I need to put it in a specific place in the folder where Audio Director 5 is? Or do I need to open the file in Audio Director 5?

Please help. Thanks

P.S. Do the steps for Audio Director 5 apply to PD13 and Color Director? Computer: Asus ROG Gaming PC

Hello Sanderguy777,

The steps are essentially the same for ALL CyberLink products. First, book mark this page where you'll find the most recent (& previous) patch updates.

Download the appropriate installer for ADR, CDR or PDR and run it. The update patch will install itself, so you don't need to worry about file paths etc.

Just in case, after installation, I keep my patch installers in separate folders on an external hard drive.

I got it! I restarted the computer and the installers are working fine now. Thanks for your help.

I think they should put instructions on the update page for guys like me. They should call it "Updates for Dummies" LOL Computer: Asus ROG Gaming PC
