I only took a glance because the audio of you guys talking is really bad (in my opinion).

You need external microphones. I'm assuming you're using a camera with a built-in Mic. Does it have plugs for external mics? If so, find anything that will work. You don't need a $1000 mic. Just something that's closer to you so it's not picking up the sounds of your voices bouncing off the walls. If you're hanging curtains to produce a green screen, hang some more around the room to kill echos. Not flat, you need them bumpy like when your normal curtains are open. Maybe someone else can recommend sound dampening ideas?

We used a snowball to record the sound. It was set up just out of shot.

Maybe it was a little to far away?

I skimmed through the manual. It never states how close or far it should be from the sound source. The photos show the mic within arms reach. Try to keep it as close as possible so you both sound good. If you watch any professional singer/DJ/Radio host who uses a mic, it's right up to their mouth. I took another look... Your method of green screen works fine to me. I never thought it was annoying.

I agree with what jcardana said about the sound quality of your review dialog.

I would suggest you try lapel Microphones one on each of you. Lapel Microphones are not very expensive, they can be as little as $10-$25 each for camcorders. Even at that price the quality is remarkable.

The expense comes if you have to mix two microphones into one input. Mixers are expensive.

You can also use a single handheld Microphone and hand it back and forth, to the person speaking.

I normalised everything except the intro. Can't remember the resoning why. Will normalise everything next time.

I have some lapel mics, but no mixer yet. I was looking to buy a professional standalone microphone recoreder with lapels when I could afford it. Will try with the snowball nearer next time and see if that does the trick.

Getting the snowball closer would help. having it in between the two of you may be close enough.

The review part of the video had a lot or room echo, which is caused by too much distance from the speaker and having a room with hard surfaces.
