Actually you are right. The PiP designer allows you to alter a single picture or you can build a video wall with each picture having different settings. It's really quite versatile.Oh, and by the way, welcome to the forum
Thanks for clarifying that for me. I am actually having a ball with this. My background and work up to now has been designging, manufacturing and selling small electronic sound systems for radio controlled model airplanes, helicopters, boats and tanks. I am now easing into my retirement and am taking up new interests.
My first priority is to get my 40 year old wedding photos captured (done), retouched (done) and made into a video slideshow (on-going). My first, quite successful, attempt was done entirely in Powerpoint. While it has very good control over graphics and text, it is quite cumbersome, but not impossible, to get the timing and synching to audio done right as it does not support a timeline view.
After flirting with Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for a day or two, I tried the trial version of Power Director 13, and liked it so much I bought the full version right away.
Then I have our children's graduation photos and many historic family photos going back to the 1940's and even earlier. This will keep me out of mischief for quite a while!
