I understand your disappointment with the DVD quality PD13.
I already complained several times about it here.
PD has better quality for file Progresivo so I use this whenever possible, put the DVD in PD is always converted to give Interlace have a picture degradation.
So I use another sofware to create DVD-video.
Example that the PD DVD rendering is below.
I edit one video Sony camcorder, SD (MPEG2 DVD standard) use SVRT not render.
1 - Even for this video that is interlaced, PD will render to lower the bitrate of 9 to 8 Kbps. it has image degradation.
2 - Video thereof Sony camcorder in FullHD, rendered to MPEG2 using the same settings of the original Sony MPEG (In PD) has lower quality.
If I rendering to progressive got better image quality however has blur to motion picture.
