When the BluRay is inserted and the PDVD program starts, there is no sound. To get the sound I have to stop the playback and restart the movie. The sound works then but always requires this stop and restart process.

Any know issue with the audio?

Bose® - Companion® 5 Multimedia speakers.

No sound card and used for PDVD

Just an idea, you could try setting the sound device in PDVD to your Bose speakers rather than just "Default Device".
