You have already been told that you are postign in the wrong part of the forums. Post your question here: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/forums/show/53.page

It depends -- it is an OEM piece of software. OEM are "teaser" pieces of software that are either modified by the supplier - in your case HP or is specified by HP. They are very often limited in what they can do. What software titles came in your package.

If you have Power2Go, Power Producer or Power Diretor, then one of those shoul burn DVD. Foem your other posts, it seems that you know quite a bit about video editing and DVD making. Why are you asking rather than trying?

When I got my first piece of Cyberlink software, it was an OEM version (9 I believe). Yes, you should be able to upgrade that but sometimes outright purchase is cheaper.

Again, please specify exactly what you want to do. As you know, Windows has the ability to maker and burn video DVD and there are some free programs that will do it also.

I feel that you are NOT telling us the full story about what you really want to do. We would also need to know about your computer via posting the results of a dxdiag evaluation of your computer. Here are some guidelines:

If you don't respond, then people will know that you are NOT serious about your postings. .

simply, i want to burn DVDs.

what came bundled with my laptop is "media suite" - LabelPrint, PhotoDirector, Power2Go8, PowerDirector10, PowerDVD12 and YouCam.

but everything wants to be upgraded.

doesn't look like i can do anything til i shell out money.

that's why i'm asking.

i'm poor, and can't afford spending money unless i know i'm gonna get results.

There is trial software.

As in yuor other thread, most reputable softwear will NOT copy a copyrighted disc. It is illegal. .
