Can I use a JPG file as a PiP in my videos?
[Post New]
Hi all,

I have a JPG file that I would like to pop up on the top right part of my video for about 2 seconds. Is there a way I can do that? Do I need to convert the JPG into another format. I am totally new to this so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Anna

Hi Anna

This is very easy, just place the Jpeg in video track two. You will notice that it has handles in the preview screen when highlighted. Use these handles to size and place the Jpeg where you want it to show.

Then place the Jpeg (still in track two) to begin where you want it and then stretch it so it last 2 seconds or you can highlight it and go to "duration" and set 2 seconds. If you use "duration" you should note that the timings are 00:00:00:00. The zeros represent Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Frames per second. So duration for you would look like 00:00:02:00.

I hope this helps you

Welcome to the forum by the way

Thank you very much for the simple and straightforward answer. I was able to follow your directions and it worked great. Thanks for the welcome as well. I'm new to Powerdirector 13 as well as editing in general and it can be intimidating for a lil gal! LOL!

I guess we all know where my vote goes for "Best Avatar" on the forum. Not feeling so crabby all of a sudden.

Nice pic for supergirl. This looks like similar to cosplay the contests that I see locally.
