Is there a fasterway to trim video (like an .mp4) without taking the time to re-encode the whole thing?

Yes use Intelligent SVRT to select a profile that will not render the entire video, only in positions that have a edit.

Even if SVRT can not find a compatible profile, it is possible to create a personal profile that will place SVRT in many cases.

Here is what I am trying to do:

I have one .mp4 video that I want to split into 3 smaller .mp4 videos.

What I am doing to accomplish this is trimming the original video down to the first smaller video then producing it.

Then doing that all over again to produce a second video from a different section of the original video.

Then doing that all over again for the third.

etc.

This is too time consuimg.

Is there a faster way to split a video into several different video files without producing for each?

You have to produce every segment, one by one.

I said if SVRT works in practice makes a copy of the selected part, quick process.

Use the yellow cursor to select the portion to be saved, and Button Produce Range

Instead of trimming several times, you can also hignlight a section, right-click and choose to produce just that section. Sorry, I can't remember the exact wording used. __________________________________
