Hi,

Is it possible to blur the face of a subject (as in the context of a secret testimony) and the blur effect would follow the head/movements of the person when she/he moves?

Many thanks for assistance,

Cadu

Yes, watch this tutorial, it is an older version of Powerdirector, you can still do this in PD 13.

How to Create A Censor Blur PowerDirector 8 Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE_pbBhTl1I
In the description is a tutorial for newer versions

In the newer versions of Powerdirector there are Keyframes that makes it a bit easier to follow the action.

Thanks Carl312!
Regarding the Keyframes you mentioned, do you know if there is track motion feature? I mean, I the blurring would follow the person face, but the process itself wouldn't request for me much manually effort. It would be a task for PD13 track motion!

The motion tracking is manual only, that is a feature not in Powerdirector so far.

If you put the keyframes close enough you can get a pretty good motion track, you must do the work to make the motion smooth. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
