What happens is when I split/trim either the video or voice/over work and use "Delete and fill gap". Sometimes what happens is that the trimmed audio decides that it wasn't trimmed, and continues to overlap the "trimmed" section over the rest of the audio tracks.
This is strange because you would expect trimmed audio to stop playing right at where it's split. Having to re-render and re-watch a 20 minute video 3 times in a row and still get these issues no matter where I put the audio, is pushing me into considering a different video editor.
So far I have tried to varying levels of success:
- Trimming the audio so that the Blocks of audio do not butt against each other
- Placing the blocks of audio into separate tracks
- Restarting my PC and the program
I do use an external USB DAC, but I cannot imagine how that would impact the rendering itself.
Any suggestions and insights would be greatly appreciated.
