Edited the file in texteditor

I just opened my pds-file in TextPad and manually edited some links to videos that were wrong.

After saving the edited file I only get a blank screen when opening it in PowerDirector.

I open PowerDirector, open the file and get a blank screen... as in opening an empty script.

Bummer!

What can I do to make the file readable again?

(I have tried re-opening the file in TextPad, to see if the file had been damaged, but it looks ok. It just won't open properly in PowerDirector anymore).

Thank you.

Carsten.

Hi crjensen1 ,
Perhaps the pds files' headers were changed by your text editor. Use a different one next time and only work on a duplicate.

Recover the situation maybe by going to AutoSave.
C:\Users\YourPCNameHere\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\13.0\AutoSave

Re-checking the changed local addresses you inserted.

Share the pds for examination - someone might be willing to have a look over it.

Thank you for your help.
There was an AutoSave version that I could use.
Thank you very much!

Carsten.
