PD13 Trial - Where is MPEG-4 in produce options?

Hi folks,

I've been grappling with the issue of PD11 Deluxe failing to produce (after a forced Windows 8 major update that I could no longer postpone... it just whirred into action).

I've been pursuing the issue through the CyberLink Support resource. My liaison has been very helpful, but I have not as yet completely resolved the problem.

I have unistalled PD11 as instructed. The suggestion from CyberLink Support has been to trial PD13.This brings me to my questions:My preferred option of MPEG-4 does not appear as a choice in PD13 (otherwise, I have not found where it is hidden).

I recall (in PD11) eight options for file types when producing. AVI, PPEG-2, AVC, WMV. MPEG-4, MOV, MKV and Audio. What I see in PD13 is AVI, MPEG-2, Windows Media, QuickTime, AVC, XAVC S and Audio.

I have been able to produce my project but NOT in the desired MPEG-4 and (being a trial version, it is watermarked) which is also undesirable.I would like to know how to produce MPEG-4 files, firstly.

Then I need to work out if I'm to pursue PD11 (which I owned, own) or PD13 (in a cunning upsell, I don't know).

Thanks in anticipation,

Cazz

Hi, Cazz.... See my picture.....

Under H.264 / AVC you have the choice between M2TS, MP4 and MKV.

You have the same choice under H.265/AVC

Thanks for that - much appreciated.

And now I guess I'll be suckered into buying PD13 to get back into business... hmmm.
