I have found from Support that the only was to use the ISO images created in Power Director 13 to create playable DVDs is to use P2Go. It works great and I can produce DVD's, and BluRay DVD's from completed projects as needed in a fraction of the time. For example I have a 45min video from PD13. If I want a DVD of the project it takes PD13 an hour to render and produce. If I use PD13 to create an ISO of the project and I use P2Go 9 it take 3 minutes to write a new DVD every time I need one so it is an extremely usefull feature in PD13. The ISO img created by PD13 creates an unplayable DVD if burned directly using Windows ISO.

Unfortunately, P2Go 9 free download expires 2 weeks after trial leaving the user with P2Go Essentials free which will open the ISO file but will not create a DVD forcing PD13 users to buy the full version.

I don't believe it is fair to those who have purchased PD13 to be forced to buy more software to use a PD13 feature or to have to find third-party to use it. I don't want to spend $90 on P2Go when this is the only feature I need.

Cyberlink - Please enable P2Go Essentials free to write DVDs from the ISO file so your PD13 customers can use this feature.

Thanks,

Many people prefer to use IsoBurn, a free program that will burn the ISOs. Be careful because it does NOW come with a lot of crapwear. In the past it didn't.

I use windows "Burn disc image" all the time with PD13 created ISO files with no issues. They play fine on multitudes of players, many satisfied recipients. I use the feature to create both DVD and BD discs from appropriate PD13 ISO files.

I find the windows feature is convenient if I need to burn just one ISO file to disc but if doing multiple then the features of a real burn utility are nice.

Any chance you have a 3rd party drag to disc type feature installed or similar that's creating the issues for you?
This link walks through the "Burn disc image" that creates a totally acceptable playable disc with menus in standalone players for me. http://www.7tutorials.com/burning-iso-or-img-disk-images-windows-7
