On Power Director 13 clicking magic music only loads a screen without any available music list,'

Previously when last editing all worked ok, had music on current saved project but when went open project again get message

* Cyber Link Director will ignor some SmartSound music because it is not suported in this project.

What's going on? New to this so proberly simply thing I'm overlooking.

Did you try clicking on the SmartSound button in the Smartsound interface?

After you click the Smartsound button, then click on rebuild Database.

When I tried it Powerdirector 13 locked up, I had to click on the "Smartsound Tab" on the Windows Task bar and choose 'Close Window'. After I closed that window, PD 13 and the Smartsound interface worked again.

I assume you are waiting for Smartsound to do its update when you first open Smartsound in PD13. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Hi auspete -

I've had that message repeatedly telling me that "SS will ignore some media"... blah blah blah. Nothing was wrong at all in any of the circumstances it's popped up. Apart from the annoyance of a false message, all editing & production carried on smoothly.

Carl's "Rebuild Database" suggestion should fix the apparently empty music library.

Cheers - Tony
