Wiil not capture from DVD copy

I have some DVDs that I had used to copy some 8mm cassette recordings. When I try to capture anything from these DVDs it will not capture anything. It seems to go thru the preocess but does not capture. Any help would be appreciated.

You must copy the DVD (VIDEO_TS) folder within the PC (HD) first.Import only the extension file, VTS_ "0x_x" .VOB AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3

Sometimes I use Windows Explorer to open the disc, DVD.

I copy the VIDEO_TS folder to a folder on the hard drive, then PD, import the video file (.VOB) to the library.

You can import directly from the DVD disc to PD. however the process is extremely slow.

Thank you for your help with this. You saved my day.

Maybe you can help with something else that I am not sure about.

When I place this on the timeline it says that it is 4.3 aspect ratio and ask if I want to change it. If I want to add this to a saved projest that is 16.9 what should I do. There will only be a small portion that I will be using from this file.

I when edict from copied DVD VHS or MiniDV tape.Enable SVRT for PD not render the video that is already on the DVD standard, whenever possible.If you apply filters, resizing etc ... no way will have to render the video.

Talves need to create a personal profile for your video, here I have two profiles escíficos Video Interlaced UP (VHS) and other Interlaced DOWN (MiniDV)
