Transferring Project Files from Various Computers - Losing Audio Sync

Hi guys,

I just need some quick help on an issue that I have been experiencing. I currently upload and edit video files on computer 1 at my workplace. I will upload the files and edit as necessary inside PowerDirector 12. I just do simple editing (trimming files, altering the audio levels and synchronizing the audio to various clips using the multicam editor). However, there are times when I need to transfer the project files over to my laptop (which also has a purchased version of PD12) and finish editing the project from there. However, whenever I use multicam to synchonize the external audio to a particular video on computer 1 and ensure that all of the project files are transferred over to computer 2, I lose the synchronization when I open the project up on computer 2. I was hoping someone could help me with this.

PS: I ensure that not only the initial raw clips and audio are transferred but any new files that get saved during the editing process.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Chris

You are using the option File / Pack Projects Materials?

I think is the most suitable for your case. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate
