How do I add text to a standard background

Hi all



Think I am being stupid but I cannot figure this out... I found a lovely background called light ... now I want to add some text to this background... but if I edit the background I can do lots of things but not add text... as far as I can.. and if I insert the background I cannot add text to the timeline excpt by replacing the background...





HELP PLEASE

Place your background image in track 1.
Select Titles and place a Title in track 2, under the background image,
or place the Title in the Title track.
Use Title Designer to edit/modify the Title.

thanks very much.... I was being stupid and hadnt spotted that the next two sections are audio and fx... ugggg dummy that i am...

yes.... been doing that for many things... as a developer for many years I adopted an attitude of manuals are useless... an app should be intuitive enough for you to work out how to do things...



btw ... one other thing you should be able to do whilst prep and editing is preview full screen movie



without going to produce I cant see how you can do that in edit mode... is there any way in edit mode???

If I understand right.

2 clicks on the preview to full screen.

Press Esc on the keyboard, or x (Close) to go back to editing
