Hello.

I am starting a new project and found that PD is letting me know about a mismatch between the .mov clips that I am trying to add to the timeline.

My screen capture will be much clearer.

I want to know where I can find the settings to do what I am told to do by the program.

Thanks

The common but is OK to give the message.

When done editing goes to produce it and you choose the profile but adequate for what you want.

You can set standard PAL or NTSC.

Menu Edit / Preferences ... / General / Timeline Frame Rate: / OK AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate

The settings in the menu at the top of the screen. It looks like a little gear. __________________________________

Those settings apply only to the aspect ratio.

I find it annoying that there are these type of messages and instead of taking the user to the place where he/she can make the change, all we get is the notice itself.

Thanks any way!

No they don't. Look for the TV format. __________________________________

Not sure if this is the same question but I'm also not sure what to choose when using video from my Samsung SIII phone.

Project:
setting is 30FPS (NTSC) (Project screen-shot)

Frame rate of the 2 video clips I'm adding is 30FPS.

So when I add them to the time-line I get a mismatch "the frame rat of the clip is 30fps and the timeline is 29.97 fps.

Then when I choose produce and SVRT it:

a) doesn’t find my custom profile
b) suggest a separate profile for each video clip (nothing you cant select)

What is the correct way to use this video format in PD?

Video clip format info also attached.

Hi EKSVid ,
New question, different problem, different user, start a new topic please.
Check out the guide: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40361.page
Basically your question while linked to a frame rate concern is a distraction from the OP's and you should start a new topic (very much worth discussing).

Did not try to "hijack" this post - only add to the subject "Setting the project's framerate".

I will make a new post. Win8.1 Pro x64 / Dual x5670 / 24GB / GTX960 4GB / 240GB SSD + 640GB HDD / PD13 Ultimate

Thank you, Dafydd. I have limited internet access right now and it is difficult for me to post pictures. __________________________________
