bulk actions using a/v unlink and power tools

Hi everyone

I am looking for advice on bulk actions.

My projects contain at least 30-40 individual videos and all have to have the following steps applied:

  1. unlink audio/video

  2. video rotation 180 degrees (under power tools)

  3. video speed 7 x (under power tools)

I am doing all of the above 3 steps on each individual file and it is extremely tedious. My current project is 43 files so I am looking at 120+ pointless mouse clicks yell Is there a way to apply the above 3 actions to bulk files at once within my project. I have selected multiple at once but the unlink audio/video option for example is greyed out.

I appreciate any help available and am happy to upgrade to a newer version if the bulk options are available in later versions.

Thank you!

The process is the same in PD13.

unlink audio / video

You have to do one by one

video rotation 180 degrees (under power tools)

Make the 1st clip.

Right click Copy keyframes Attributos.

Select all clips.

Paste Keyframes Atributes.

7 x video speed (under power tools)

You have to do one by one.

Option to do everything at once.

Save your project into a video file.

New project add this single file, and apply the tools.

Note: 1 st Producer use SVRT to prevent full rendering of the video if possible.

Thank you very much for those tips, particularly the copy attributes. I was able to find the ability to do bulk actions for all 3 steps in another editing program so have moved over. Hopefully PD will have them too one day.

I was able to rotate the first clip (imported from my iPhone) and then copy and paste the clip attributes to all the other clips (which all needed the same rotation). Thank you, I too wish this was more obvious in PD.

It would be great if we had the ability to select more than 1 clip AND still had the power tools menu/options etc.. available!

Thanks!
