How do I stop the curser from jumping ahead in one spot

I have expanded the timeline and removed the clips, (Title, background and music) to see if anything was obstructing the movement. There is nothing left behind or anything that I can see that would cause this to happen. Does anyone have a suggestion on what would cause the curser to jump ahead or skip secenes?

Try to lower the quality of preview.

I tried that and it didn't work. I also, tried removing them and installing newclips. It still does it. I tried a process of ellimination by removing one at a time to see if I could discover which one was causing the problem and that didn't work. There doesn't appear to be anything else on the track, although, I, prematurely get the sound of the next track before reaching it.

Problem solved. I didn't change to the proper preview mode. When I switched from HD to normal preview, the problem went away.

Thanks.

This makes for any video?Only with video of the same provenance? What is the profile of your original video? In the latter case I would try to save the video to the same standard or what you think your PC works best, you can not connect SVRT, hence will not change the original profile.
