I have a copy of PD13 on my home computer (apply named Big-Vid !). I was wondering, can I get another licence for a copy on a laptop or do I have to purchase another fully (and expensive ? copy)

I have Motorhome (Camper / RV /Campingcar, depending where in the world you guys are) and it would useful to download video as temp backup to a laptop. It occured to me that I could do some preliminary editing on the hoof so as to speak.

Rgds

You would have to contact Cyberlink Support to get a complete answer to that question.

It has been discussed many times in the forum.

One conclusion is the license is for one computer. It may be licensed to one person. I do not know the answer.

You can try it, and see if it works. Make sure the owner name is the same.
You do know there are very few laptops that will work these files with any satisfaction, right?

The license is for only one computer. Activating it on another computer will require to uninstall it from the first one.

I have seen requirements that demand the uninstall/inactivation of software to be able to use it on another computer. Photoshop, New Blue, and Final Draft come to mind.
Its been quite some time, years, since I got flagged, even after multiple uninstall-reinstall routines for a certain finicky video editor... HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
