Audio mixing room confusion
[Post New]

I've usually adjusted audio levels the quick and dirty way by using the rubber band on the timeline, but I gather its supposed to be more accurate and easier using the audio mixing room. The thing is I tried it and I was all over the place, and ended up scampering back to the timeline. :-/

I'd like to, for instance, take down (or ramp up) the volume of the whole clip in one move, and I'm sure that's possible but I keep getting myself in a mess, Can anybody advise or point me at an appropriate tutorial?

Cheers.

What makes the audio rubber band move as one piece is if there are no (zero) Keyframes on the audio line.

If you have any keyframes, it will pivot on the keyframe.

If you wanted to adjust the level of the whole track, you use the horizontal slider in the audio mixer room.

Thanks Carl, I've made some progress - I had to revert to the timeline for some of it. What I was really after was adjusting the level of just one clip rather than the track as a whole.

Cheers.
