Changing music

Hi everybody,
I have PD 8 installed. I have a finished video, a complex educational one with about 85 clips and many adjustments to sound level. I'm now not happy with the music, which I took almost randomly from the very limited SmartSound selection provided with the program, just because I like the way it adapts to any length video.
1.Can I change the music to another SS track or some other music, without changing the volume level adjustments I have made? I want to avoid re-editing the whole sound track.
2. This video will be posted to Youtube, which I see offers many free music clips, too, but of course they are of fixed length. If I used one, must I just tack them together, eg 2 minutes, repeat, etc., or is there are a clever way to alter the length of the music clip, as in SS? How do other people adapt music to a certain length video?

Thanks
David

Not in PD 8. I believe later versions may allow you to do that, but not until at least version 12. __________________________________
