Hi all,

I'm trying to produce a "movie" based on photos.

I have some trouble regarding the results, some pictures are not clear and seem "flashing". An example will be better to understand (notably the photo inside the train).

I really don't understand as few months ago, I didn't have this kind of pb....

I assume it's due to encoding parameters or interlacing, but I'm newbie so I need expertise :

Thanks for your help!

Use a profile HD or FullHD Progressive will have less vibration in the image.

Hi!

Thanks for your answer.

You are right, trying with HD profile (MPEG-4 2K 2048 x 1536/25p (40Mbits/s), and it's better but more more huge. Do you have any suggestion to reduce the size?

The point I don't understand is that I tried with anothe laptop (older one) with the previous profile and there isn't this bad effect.

Thanks,

Perhaps check that hardware acceleration is OFF. Sometimes HA can cause issues. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

It depends on the final destination for your video.
I use HD 720P to create the temporary video, then convert back to DVD 480P (I use other sofware to create DVD) PD only makes interlaced DVD.
When sending it to Youtube, use FullHD 1080P or 720P

I posted a video about this issue here.

Note:
I reduced the size of high resolution photos 16 Mpx. for close to 2 Mpx. has less vibration when rendered in PD.

It would be nice to others confirm, if it proceeds.

The objective is to use the video with a projector (for a travel festival)

Do you have any advice on the output format for such usage?

regarding the hardware acceleration, yes it's OFF...
