Long time user of Pinnacle Studio and trying to get the same features activated in PD12:

1. I would like one menu page with 1-6 chapter links on this one menu page. PD12 keeps making root menus and child menus and I just want the root menu with navigation to chapters.

2. Motion chapter thumbnails. With P Studio you have the option for your chapter thumbnails to be animated in your disc menu. Can't see how to do this.

3. How do I adjust the volume of the menu music?

Thanks!

Me too!!! The PD menu desiger is just a mess. Try DVDStyler, a great free program that lets you do just that. I just use PD for editing my clips.

And while we're at it: Dear folks at Cyberlink, if you're reading his: Why in all the world can I only have like two (!) clips on one subpage of my DVD menu? So when I want to have five clips on a DVD I have to click through three (!!) subpages to get to the last clip (2-2-1)! This is plain ridiculous.

I still keep my fingers crossed for PD 14. That one (sometime late 2015 maybe?) HAS got to be better... it just has to...

I've finally gotten to the point that I have a root menu and then the choice on the root menu is 'play' - which plays all the video (chapters) on the disc, or... 'scenes' - which goes to a 'scenes' menu page that has however many chapter sI have recorded onto the disc.

It is structured cumbersomely though I agree! I think (maybe) you have to had chapters created in the edit mode before it will then recognize them and put them on the chapter menu page. At least that is how I think it's working.

So, to summarize, I have one 'root' menu that can go to (if 'scenes' is selected on the root menu page) a Chapters menu that lists all the videos I have on a disc (or will have when the disc is burned.

I just gave up and paid for the upgrade to PD13. It resolves my issues with points 1 and 2. Still not sure how to adjust the menu volume, so I edit the wav file in another program and test it in the menu until it is the volume I want.

That is the only method to date. Rather silly, actually. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
