Seeking Vendor or Fellow User to Burn a Completed Blu-Ray Project
[Post New]
Hi, I hope everyone is doing well. This is my first post on the forum although I've used and enjoyed PowerDirector 10 for several years.

I'm in a bit of a bind and I am wondering if someone can help.

Some fellow musicians and I from around the world are producing a new tribute album to one of our favorite musicians, Eddie Jobson. We are planning to present a Blu-ray disc to him in addition to a CD of music. The Blu-ray disc will contain a simple HD video.

I've completed the project on PowerDirector10 but I have been unable to burn it successfully onto a Blu-Ray disc. I cannot get any Blu-Ray player to work on my system, either internal or external. In using an external drive, I repeatedly got code eEB191784. What's worse, when I tried to install an internal Blu-ray design (a nice Pioneer model), my computer does not work at all, through a strange system conflict.

Before my computer malfunctioned, I made a video showing the menu to my friends. http://youtu.be/dGytSwqIzLs . You can also see more information on our project at www.toarecords.org (you can find it on the TOA4 tab).

With my computer not working at all in anything but safe mode, I cannot even create an ISO of the project.

At this point, I'm looking for a vendor to whom I could send PowerDirector files and the video media to burn the disc. I'd be willing to pay someone for their time in addition to the Blu-ray media cost.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Ben

Benonemusic,
welcome to the forum.
For starters if you could submit your dxdiag (computer diagnostic) we might figure out why your blu-ray burns are failing.

Hi, Benonemusic. If your Blu-ray burner currently plays havoc, until such time as you remedy that situation, why not burn the clip to a regular DVD?

Hi Barry and Neil, another user contacted me via PM and burned the project for me on a BD disc. I appreciate your replies.

It's a long story, but simply installing an internal blu-ray writer had caused my computer to become inoperable except in safe mode. I could not do any additional work on my completed project, let alone solve the burning issue.

solve the burning issue
Nice choice of words, there, considering your Blu-ray drive problems! But I hope you get it sorted soon!
Cheers!

Many thanks. Yes, unintentional but completely apt pun! I am so grateful for the help from this community. With my project deadline looming, this completely saved me.
