AAAH. please help. I am taking snapshots from my video clips and naming them as prompted. when I view the snapshot I saved, it appears as an image of the first frame from the video in which the snapshot was taken, rather than the specific snapshot I selected. Can anyone please give me a simple solution? It has to be some glitch or settings issue. I have troubleshooted to the best of my ability otherwise.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi

Welcome to the forum

How odd

Are you sure you have moved the cursor to the position that you want and then press the camera icon under the preview window??

Try running Piriform CCleaner, including it's mild registry module. Do a reboot.
If that fails, a reinstall of PD might be considered. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

thanks for input
Update: I figured it out. I was originally previewing video in the small frame to the right directly from the workspace in the media room. It has the option below video window to take a snapshot (which obviously was not working) BUT, once I dragged the video from the media area into the timeline, viewed video (in the same window to the right), it allowed me to use the snapshot feature and saved the image correctly. So, all of the above garbage just means....work in the timeline, not from media rooms "storage area".
NOW that I AM SURE is a real NEWBIE issue!!!!

Here I can take photo the video added to the library.
For photo need to add the timeline.
