Replacement of Powerdirector earlier version

Hi! Sorry if this is a silly question. I have Powerdirector 9 installed on Windows 7 64 bit PC. I have been given Powerdirector 13 full version as a gift. Should I uninstall version 9 before installing version 13?

Not need to uninstall PD9.
Once installed PD13, checks PD9 still works.
Here I had PD12 and PD13 on the same PC for a while without problems.
However PD10 stopped working, so I have doubts as to PD9. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate
