PowerDirector13 beta patch (v2521)

[Release note]

- Fixes crash issue encountered when enabling Motion Blur and Rotation in the Title Designer on platforms that don't support SSE4.1.
- Fixes crash issue encountered when performing Multi Trim function on 4K video clips in the 32bit version.
- Fixes crash issue encountered when opening broken projects that were created in a previous build (before v2408 ) of PowerDirector 13.
- Fixes crash issue encountered when rotating cropped video 90 degrees on AVX2 platforms.

Hi Dafydd

I downloaded the 2521 beta patch last night and have worked with it for a few hours without any problems. I have been making adjustments to some audio clips from the timeline by calling AudioDirector and things have run smoothly, but just now the "Import Media" window that appears when the modified .wav clip is sent back to PD13 remained onscreen (showing the progress at 100%) even though the import completed and I was able to move around and work in the editor.

Fortunately, I was able to save the project then close and reopen PD, so it was just a minor UI/screen issue rather than a problem that might have caused the loss of all the work done in AudioDirector. So far, that's the only snag I've encountered.

SVRT Information or Intelligent SVRT, very slow for projects with many segments (clip's).

Allied to this case, the Produce room, select Profile, this slow to open the check boxes, quality etc ...

This problem came here PD13, PD12 worked well.

Project with 172 clip's SVRT spent 10 minutes to make 13%.

Not found or does not have a Cancel button, you must use keys (Ctrl + Alt + Del)

Screenshot shows only 50 clip's on the timeline spent 3:99 minutes.

PlaySound: SVRT takes less than 2 minutes to analyze a 1-hour video when I click on the Show SVRT Track. The % indicator goes up in multiples of 9 (9%, 18%, etc.). I don't often use that so I don't know if that's a long time or not.

I have made many edits to the volume levels of individual clips and have opened and closed PD13 many times with the new beta, but I have not seen any changes in the volume levels. My clips are DD on my 30p clips and LPCM on my 60p ones.

After closing PD13 by Ctrl + Alt + Del When reopening PD13 did restore the project and to my surprise the audio is right now.

The problem with SVRT is only to project that has many segments, 50 or more.

I'm trying to SIMPLIFY my editing by reducing the number of clips on the timeline.

So, I create a new project, add 4 clips to the timeline, set the chapter points/scenes.
Chapters are the start of each new clip.

I produce either an mpg file or mts file (that contains these 4 clips).

All of the above works.

I want to do the same with another file that contains 12 clips but before I go to all that work, I opened a new project and put my just produced mpg or mts file on the timeline and it only finds ONE chapter.

Is there something I'm missing? (there ususally is).

I didn't mean to post this here....sys admin please delete this REPLY as I've started a new thread for this.

Chapters will only be worth when you create a DVD or BluRay.

If this saved your project video file the chapters are not considered. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
