I did the musical audio files in Cubase and I'm sure that the level is fine (I'm a jazz musician and I don't like tracks too loud, so there's some headroom in these files). I don't use PD' Normalize functions cause I have professional plug-ins in Cubase which are better.
So, do you know, in the process of burning DVD, what kind of audio format are included in .VOB file (AC3 or MP2 or other?).
I read that one have to decrease the original level by -15dB to avoid peaks when one burn DVD. Is it true? Do we have to decrease the original level with same value when we produce a compressed file for YouTube?
PS: when I burned the DVD, I set audio setting at Dolby Digital. Maybe I can avoid this bug if I choose DTS or LPCM (LPCM is an uncompressed format, I presume?). For the video settings, I select HQ. The other one (Intelligent Adjustment) should not have any consequence on audio. but maybe it's better for DVD playback?
Thanks to provide me some solution to this issue!
