If one is running, the other cannot connect to the built-in webcam. Searches indicate it worked before so was the compatibility lost in an upgrade? Thanks!

Hello,
Please check the Webcam setting in Skype:
[Tools] -> [Options...] -> [Video Settings] -> [Select webcam]
Select "Cyberlink Webcam Splitter" and check if YouCam and Skype work together properly.

Please check if "Cyberlink Webcam Splitter" is installed properly or not on your platform first.
You could check it under [Device Manager] -> [Sound, video and game controllers].
